This website is operated by Darby Bailey McDonough, Ph.D., through PIP Projects Inc., South Carolina. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to PIP Projects Inc. and its associated brands, including darbybailey.com, digitalsidewalklab.com, gravel9.com, kirlnetworks.com, kirl.tv, and pipprojects.com.

2. Information We Collect

This website does not operate its own contact forms, user accounts, or data collection systems. We collect minimal data and only through the following channels:

• Newsletter subscription — If you subscribe to The Digital Sidewalk Newsletter via the Beehiiv platform, you provide your email address directly to Beehiiv. We receive subscriber data through that platform. See Beehiiv’s privacy policy at beehiiv.com/privacy.
• Server logs — Standard web server logs may record IP addresses, browser type, referring URLs, and page access times for security and performance purposes. These are not linked to personal identity and are routinely deleted.
• Analytics — If analytics services are active, aggregate, anonymized traffic data may be collected. No personally identifiable information is gathered for analytics purposes.

3. How We Use Information

Newsletter subscriber information is used solely to send the The Digital Sidewalk Newsletter and related communications you have opted into. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

This site uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Links to social media platforms (X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Medium) are provided for your convenience. Those platforms are governed by their own privacy policies when you visit them.

5. Cookies

This website does not set first-party tracking cookies. Third-party services (Cloudflare, Google Fonts) may set functional cookies required for their operation. These are not used to track you across other websites.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy law, including:

Newsletter subscriber data is retained for as long as you are an active subscriber. Upon unsubscribing, your data is handled per Beehiiv’s data retention policies. Server logs are retained for no more than 90 days.

8. Children’s Privacy

This website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us at darby@pipprojects.com and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of this site after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
